OAmaru Mail Office, Monday afternoon. Business his been a trifle freer during the week, and there have been inquires for wheat, though little in the nature of absolute transactions has eventuated. Millers will probably be in the market again shortly as stocks run out. Oats remain firm and are easily place! at quotations. Potatoes have .eased off. Other things unaltered. We quote : Wheat Tuscan and velvet, 3s lOd to 4s; red straw, 33 lOd to 4s ; good whole fowls', 3s 3d to 3s 6d (at sidings.) Oats—Prime short oats, 2s Sd to 2s lid ; Danish, 2s 7d to 2s lOd; Duns, 2s lOd to 2s lid ; Tartars, 2s 8d to 2s lid (delivered at store, sacks extra). Barley—Prime malting, 4s to 4s 9d; good feed, 2s to 2s 6d. Flour—Roller, Ll2 10s ; Stone, Ll less. Potatoes. —Lo 10s to L 6 at country stations (=acks in). Dairy Produce—Butter, prime factory, Is 2d; dairy, Sd. Eggs, 6d. Pork, 4Jd.
