MAIL NOTICE.
Mails close at the ohi6f Post Office Oamaru (subject to any necessary altera tions) as under:— For Northorn porta,' overland dally, at 2.30 p.m. Late letters, mail van, north express, at 3 p m. Friday, 20th may. For Australian colonies, Tasmania, Ceylon, India, Straits Settlements, China and Japan, also Continent of Europe and United Kingdom, via Bluff and Hobart, per Monowai, at 6.30 a m. Correspondence for United Kingdom, must be specially addressed. This mail will be due in London on the 27th of June. For Wellington, per Te Anau, at 2.30 p.m. Saturday, 21st May. For Wel'ingcon, per Rotomahana, at 2.30 p.m. The Warrnambool leaves Melbourne for South Africa, on May 20th, and the Nineveh leaves on the 2nd June. Mails for 1-taratonga and Tahiti, per Hauroto, close at Auckland, on Tuesday, 7th June, at 4 p.m.
