There ia no alteration in the markets this week, and prices close firm. _ There have been a number of transactions in wheat and several lines have changed hands at quotations. The activity is in marked contrast to the sluggishness of a few weeks ago. Any good lines can now he easily and profitably pfaced. There ia very little barley offering, but) anything good commands a market. Oata show a little firming, bat are still unacconntably slack. Potatoes are a drug locally. Other things unaltered \\ e quote Wheat —Tuscan and velvet, 4s 2d to 4s 3d : red straw, 4a Id to 4s 2d : Molds, 4a Id ; good whole fowls', 3d 7d to 3a 9d (at sidings). Qats—Prime short, oata, 2a 3d to 2.* 4d ; Punish. 2s H to 2a 2d ; Tartars. 2a 2d to 2a 3d (delivered at store, aacka extra). Barley—Prime malting, 3a 6d to 4a; good feed, 2a to 2a fidFlour—Roller.
