Oamaru Rifles.
The above corps fired this morning in the second stage for the Company's trophy. The conditions were 10 shots at 200, 300, 500, and 600 yards (scratch). Lieutenant Cork is leading in the aggregate with two ranges yet to fire. The following are a few of the highest aggregates over the first and second stages.
Private Miller wins Messrs Brown and Gibbard's trophy being the highest scorer at 300 yards.
