Missing Friends.

Correspondents must give the dates of the inquiries to which they refer. We cannot search back numbers, print inquiries for " missing husbands," or refer to files of Lloyd's. Bromley (James Williarr.) is supposed to have left Staplehursb for New Zealand about 1859. Wife died on voyage. Sister-in-law (Mrs Gr. Brooks) asks. Pope (John and Charlotte) were last heard of in July, 1886, from Kowai Bush, Canterbury, N.Z. Relatives inquire. Porter (Charles and Henry) are sought by their mother. Henry was in Man-chester-street, Christchurch, N.Z., and Charles was in Southland when last heard of. (From Lloyd's, December Bth.) Gregory (William) was last heard of from Christchurch, New Zealand, about 25 years ago. Niece Alice asks. Sutherland (Mrs Dinah —Mills) left Hays 12 years ago, and was last heard of from Merrivale, " Otautau," New Zealand. Sister Annie seeks news. Wood (Henry William) in August, 1894, vvas steward on board the Government s s. Hinemoa, of Wellington, New Zealand, then going to the Pacific Islands. Mother is anxious.
