EMERSON is a whole brown with black points, standing 16 hands 3 inches (bred by the late Robert Wilkin, Esq., Christchurch), winner of the Cup and Stallion Race, 11th August, 1893, and first prize taker wherever shown. His performances on the . track stamp him as an undeniably Good Horse ; his blood is that of the best families of fast and game trotters in the great breeding district known as the Blue Grass Section of Kentucky. His size, color, soundness and natural trotting gait at once pronounce him to be the finest horse ever introduced into this district for the improvement of the Road and Track Horses.
