Sydney, August 10. In the football match New South Wales defeated Victoria by 25 to 6.
(by telegraph.) Auckland, August 10. In the football match Auckland v. Wanganui at Potter's Paddock 2900 were present. . The home team won by six points to three. The game was well contested. Wellington, August 10. In the football match between Manawatu and the Wellington Unions, played at Petone this afternoon in bitterly cold southerly weather, the local team had all the best of the game, and won by 14 to nil.
