Mabel Hartford, American missionary, states that the mob at Kncbing attacked the mission station at seven in the morning. She herself was nearly speared, bat got off with a severe beating. Topsy Saondcr* escaped to Dr Stewart's hooao, bat «»* kitted outside. Miss Gordon's head was almost severed from her body. Received Attgost 10, at 11 a.ro. Losno.v, Angost 9. The Chinese Minister and British Cabinet are consnltins with regard to the Chridtwn massacre in Kuching.
