NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENTS.
"Temperance."—Your letter shall be inserted on your testifying, on the written authority of some reputable and reliable person, that Mr Dewdney made the statement you attribute to him. Your premises are as misleading as your signature. It is absolutely necessary that the real names of the writers should be sent with letters intended for publication anonymously. Correspondents are requested not to address communications upon matters connected with this office to individual members of our staff, as delay may be occasioned thereby. All letters intended for the literary department should be addressed to the Editor, and communications of a commercial nature, advertisementsj etc., to the Manager.
