I Battery.
Some 20 members of the above corps competed in the opening round of the seventh series of competitions yesterday morning, for trophies given by Lieut.Colonel Sumpter (for highest aggregate from scratch), Non-Com. Officers, Messrs Lane and Co., J. Shand, and Oamaru Mail. The following are the highest scores :
