(by telegraph.) (rER PIIESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON. September 12. Miss -Tervois, daughter of Sir William Jervois, arrived by the Aorangi, on a nine month's visit to the colony. The Aorangi brought 2000 MartiniHenry rifles for the Government. During the passage of the Aorangi from the Cape to Hohart, a saloon passenger named William George Kedgq died from phthisis. Deceased, who was a native of Putney, was coming to New Zealand for his health. CHRISTCHURGH. September 12.
