INTERPROVINCIAL NEWS.
(by telegraph.) WELLINGTON. September 13. The Mabiuapua is expected to leave New Plymouth with the San Francisco mail at 9 o'clock to-night. The Penguin will take the mail on south from here tomorrow evening. Mr M'Gowan, Tax Commissioner, will visit Sydney in response to an invitation of the New South Wales Government to explain the details of the Land and Income Tax Department. He was to have left by tlxe Manapouri, but, owing to pressure of Parliamentary business, he cannot get away till the end of the month.
DUNEDIN. September 13. Among the effects on the man who died at the north end of the city this week L4OO were found sewn in his waistcoat.
