[BY TELEGRAPH.] Auckland, September 12. At the Supreme Court. Jeremiah OHeilly and Henry Rogers weie sentenced to four years for assault and robbery. Napier, September 12. At the Supreme Court, Roderick M'Kenzie, for breaking and entering, got two years. John Clarebntt, expressman, aged over 60, was convicted on five counts of indecent assault upon girls under 14 years of age, and the jury endorsed the strong comments of Judge Richmond on the state of groes immorality disclosed by the evidence. His Honor 6aid that but for the prisoner's grey hairs he would have ordered the lash. As it was, he imposed a sentence of seven years' penal Servitude. Napxeb, September 13. E. H. Cooper, for false pretences, got six months. F. C. W. Bisroe. for embeulement of Road Board and Foresters' funds* got two years.
