It is fully expected that the Governnmt will withdraw the proposed hotel icenae from the King Country. Quite rataide the teetotal party, many Ministoil supporters disapprove of the license, though recognising that more harm is fone to the natives by the illict traffic low carried on. The L'vbor Bureau last week sent 55 men from Wellington to employment in tie country. Numbers of men continue to arrive from the South seeking for work.
