Lazarus, an Ophthalmic Optician, with very high credentials from India and England, is visiting Adelaide to establish an agency for the sale of spectacles. His aids to sight are specially made with patent lenses to suit each eye and frames to suit the face of each individual. The refraction test, which he has patented, is considered perfect, and is a most interesting one. From the Ballarat Courier, 21st December, 1889. The patent is an improved method of sight-testing, called the refraction test, aud is a simple and perfect mode of discovering the slightest defect or difference between the two organs of sight. , , From the Australian Star, Sydney, 22nd August, 1890. We have had an opportunity of visiting the rooms of Mr N. Lazarus, the eminent Oculist Optician, and seeing a practical experiment of his patent refraction test and system of sight-testing.
