AUCTIONEERS' REPORTS. Messrs Fleming and Hetl ley report that on account of the wet weather scarcely any stock came forward, there being only one pen of fat sheep and two fat cattle yarded. Notwithstanding the small entry, prices ruled about the same as at last sales. They sold—On account of Mr Richard Wilson: 2 fat cows, at L 4 4s each. The demand for store stock still continues, and any lots offering are at once bought up if the price is anyway reasonable. During the fortnight they sold privately —On account of Mr E. S. Butler (Gilston): 750 halfbred lambs, at Bs. On account of Mr John Douglas (Waihao Downs): 430 fat lambs, at 10s, and 1619 crossbred store ewes at a satisfactory figure. On account of Mr John Cameron : 800 fat ewes, at 10s 6d, and 6 head of cattle, at Lo each. On account of Mr A. Thomson : 2000 store crossbred ewes, at full rates. On account of Mrs Heron, Messrs Mee, Clements, and others: 450 fat lambs, at 9s 6d to 10s. On account of W. Carey : 10 head fat cattle, light weights, at L 4 each.
