WELLINGTON. September 22. Messrs H. D. Bell and E. Pearce will represent the Wellington Racing Club at the Racing Conference in C'hristchurch in November.
DUNEDIN. September 22. The Supreme Court was occupied the whole day with Wright v. Spence, claim L 250 damages for seduction. NAPIER. September 22. The criminal sessions are now on before the Chief Justice. There are only two cases—one of larceny and one of personation at the last general elections. M'Cluskey pleaded guilty to larceny, and was sentenced to six months' imprisonment.
In the case of Fraw ley. charged with personation, the jury did not- retire, but returned a verdict of not guilty.
FEILDING
September 22. A child 18 months old, daughter of Klink. a laborer, was drowned accidentally in a well yesterday afternoon.
