THE TEACHERS' UNION.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —My friend " Mug-Womp," finding himself hopelessly beaten, has cried Fcccavi! and it is, therefore, unnecessary that I should pursue this correspondence any further. In parting from my unknown friend, permit me to say that every statement that I have made remains unshaken, for though '' Mug-Wump" has indulged in a great deal of denial, he has not adduced a Bingle proof that any one of the assertions I have made was not founded upon absolute fact. That he has not disproved any statement of mine shows the strength of my case and his folly in attempting to dislodge an opponent who was and is safely and impertnrbably enaconced within the impregnable fortress of truth and solid fact.—l am, etc., Shoulder io Shoulder*
