(BY TELEGRAPH.) WELLINGTON. July 23. A number of employers and shopkeepers in this city are taking steps to farm an association for mutnal protection. The Coptic arrived at Rio Janeiro on her way to New Zealand on Sunday. July 23. The Wellington Poultry Association show will be opened by the Governor 10-morrow. The number of entries are 825, being an increase of 100 over last year, and the show promises to be the most successful ever held, as entries have been received from nil parts of the colony.
