COLONIAL FEDERATION
[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.j (FEB UNITED PEESB ASSOCIATION). Received May 1, at 1.15 a.m. Sydney, April 30. In the Legislative Assembly, Sir Henry Parkes has given notice that the federation proposals agreed upon at the Melbourne Conference be discussed on Wednesday. He Intends to propose that Messrs Wm, M'Millan (East Sydney), J. P. Abbott (Wentworth), J. P. Garvan (Eden), and himself from the Lsgislatlve Assembly, and Messrs E. Barton, Jennings, and W. H. Suttor from the Legislative Council shall be the New South Wales delegates to the next conference. The Opposition are annoyed at Mr G. R. Dibbs, member for Murrnmbldgee, being overlooked, and the omission of his name from the Hat Is likely to cause some trouble.
