Her ggsire (Touchstone won St. Leger, Donoaster Cup (twice), Ascot Cup (twloe), and Ascot Gold Oup; ggdam (Vulture) was the fastest animsl of her day. Vanguard's ggggdam was Kite, the g dam of Juliet (imp). Vanguard is a beautiful black, stands 16 hands 1 inch, and is one of the few Traduoer horses now remaining at the stud in New Zealand* His raolng career Is well known.
