The Exhibition to-day was very largely attended, tho attendance for the day being estimated at 9081, of which 7603 paid for admission. .Fifteen mamhera of the Victorian Lstrialataro reached town this evening, and were taken to tho Exhibition by the Executive CommUniooer. AH expressed tbtnuelves highly delighted with what they hove so far seen. December 3. Among tho machinery exhibits haß beeu placed a specimen of improved railway carriago lately constructed in the Government shops with balcony and small comp:irlment3, nlao one of Scoti'a (Chrisi-chu-cfc) locomotives. The building ia very quiet this morning, most of the people being away on tho harbor excursion, cr at tho pigeon shooting match held oa the Carla'croak cricket ground. A good cumber arrived from Melbourne last night. The Permanent Artillerymen have quite a bc3y time of it explaining tha working cf the guns, especially the big eix-incii breech loader. There is generally a small crowd of ladies around them, wto seem to take an immense interest in tho details of these formldablo f7eupo&3.
