Awamoa has taken first prize as a yearling at Oamarn, Tim am, Christohnroh, and Dunedln, first aa a two-year-old at Dunedin, and first as a three-year-old at Oamarn In 1884; also gaining the Champion Prize as the best entire norse on the ground o any age, besides several other Prizes. Awa Moa is the Sire of the Celebrated Colt Regent, sold in Maroh, 18SS, for the high price of 350 guineas, and yearlings, both oolts and fillies, were sold at the same time at from 30 to 50 guineas; also of the first prize two-year-old filly at Oamarn inISBB. He was only once shown in .New Zealand, getting first prize at Dunedin in 1881. From the above it will be seen that Crown Prince iB from the greatest prize-takers in the world, his mother being about the best mare ever produced in Scotland and his father never having been beaten in Scotland or New Zealand. Crown Prince himself is a massive ;horse with immense bone of the finest quality, abundant hair of the right sort, and combining fine quality and perfect symmetry, with great pourr, He is juat what has been long wanted in the district as a successor to Young Banker and is the very hone to use to the progeny of that successful sire. To travel this season In the Duntroon, Otekaike, Kurow, and Hakateramea districts, The pnre-bred Clydesdale Entire OBLE M A N N Nobleman was bred by Mr Wm. Craig, of Wairoa, Wanganui; is out of Blossom, by Sir William Wallace, and is now rising 9 years old. He is of a rich bay color, and stands fully 17i hands high on short wellformed legß ; baa immense bone and muscle, with p'enty of hair ; has a splendid temper and first-rate action. When 3 years eld Nobleman took first prize at the Wanganui Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Show, 1883, beating three others—the only time shown. Hir William Wallace was bred by Mr Campbell, Taieri, out of the famous champion mare by Kettle's Sir William Wallace (Imported), and took first prize at Oamarn, 1873; first prize, 1874 j seoond prize, 1875 ; second prize, 1876. Was not shown in 1877, and first and champion of Wanganui in 1878 and 1879, and hlB gets speak for themselves wherever shown. Kettle's Sir William Wallace, bred by William Anderson, Esq., Kirkmichael, Ayrshire, out of Brisk, by Garibaldi. As a yearling he took first at Maybole, Kirk michael, and Glasgow, and second prize at Ayr. As a two-year-old second prize at the Highland Society's show held that year at Edinburgh ; and when only three days landed at Otago took second prize against horses of all ages at the Taieri, although only 2J yeara old. Ayr and Glasgow, and also second prize at Blossom by Prince Imperial cut of Beauty (Imported from Scotland), has taken many first prizes at Wanganni. and is a very powerful mare—showing the true characteristics cf the pure Clydesdale.
