The Commissioner of Police has recalved a telegram stating that a body ? supposed to ba that of the late Kbjor ' Jackson, M.H.E. for Waipa, haa been ' found in a cave between Mokan and 7 Kawhai. Tbe body has not yot been ' Identified. The place io not easily reached, but a steamer will probably be sent from Waitara to Kiwhai to convey the body to the former place, whore it Is intended to hold an inquest. December 2. The prospects obtained from reefs not a hundred miles from the prospectors' claim at Pahlpuhi are really good, and expected to open the eyes of the meat sceatical.
