VERNON'S TEAM. (rkutek'b tklegrams.) Received December 28, at 1 40 a.m. Adelaide, December 27. The match between Vernon's team and an 11 of Adelaide, was resumed to-day. During the night the wicket was watered by some unknown person, presumably with the object of favoring the looal team. The Adelaide players oontiniied their first innings, which closed for 147. Being 234 runs behind the Home team, they followed on, and, when time was oalled, had one wicket down for 249 runs.
