Mr Spnrgeon's action in withdrawing from the Baptist Union was followed up by the resignation of ministers in different parts of the country. The Baptist announces the retirement of the Rsv. Archibald G. Brown, of the East LondoD Tabernacle, the Rav. W. H. Burton (Dilston), the Rsv. J. A. Spurgeon, of Croydon, and the Rev. D. DiVies (Brighton). The church at the Nottingham Tabernacle have also passed a resolution expressing their sympathy with, and gratitude for, the step taken by Mr Spnrgeon. It is understood that a meeting of the Prator's College has been arranged to take plaea shortly with a view to considering some joint method of action. Mr Spnrgeon has pot, however, in any way instigated his students to any course whatever.
