(SKITTER'S TKLKGBAMS.) deceived December 27, at 0.20 a.m. Melbotjbne, December 24. The manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company reports as follows on the local grain market:—Wheat Is in good demand and 3) 41 to 3i 7d per bushel obtainable. Malting barley is quoted at 4i to 4s 63 per bushel, but the market is very irregular for this description of grain. New Zealand oats, feed varities, are in less demand, and prices are occasionally easier, the ruling quotations being 2s 9d to 2s 101 per bushel. For milliog descriptions there is steady bnt not active demand, at 2j 101 to 2s lid per bushel. New Zaaland oats, under bond, are quoted at 2j Id to 2j 2d per bushel.
