Last night a large commission was exocuted on Crossfire for the Derby, and slit was backed to win L9OOO at 100 to 5. Meteor has been heavily baoked for tho Cup at 100 to 6, A large number of horses were out again thia morning, but nothing important was done, except that Trenton spurted over a mile, finishing in lmin. Slseo. Commotion was exercised at three-quarter pace, going very strongly. Sheet Anchor and Britisher have arrived from Ballarat. Both horses are very fit, and were worked at half-pace. Trident and Volcano, In company, did a serviceable gallop over six furloigs. Isonomy oovered a mile in splendid style. Hexham simply oantered and spurted. Maddelina, Lord William, Bravo, Industry, Metal, Crossfire, King* fish, Arsenal, Aome, and Tamarisk wore out, and did good work. The weather ii fine, and there is every prospeot of a pleasant day to-morrow.
