SHOCKING ACCIDENT.
(by telegram.) _New Pitmouth, March 2. A sad accident occurred near Midhnrst on Sunday. William Vickers went out for cattle early yesterday, and, not returning at noon his brother Charlea went to look for him. Neither returning by the evening, a search party went oat at 10 o'clock, when both bodies were found in the Te Popo Kiver. It is supposed that William Vickers had entered the water for a bath arid was taken with the cramp, his brother, on finding his clothes on the bank, entered the water to try to secure the body and had likewise been drowned.
