NORTH DISTRICT SCHOOL PICNIC AND SPORTS.

The* scholars,- teaohers, and friends of the aboye school met this morning at ten p ; olaok,. in thel school ground,- to the number of [t about 32Q. ; After .forming in ranks, they were marched 'out the North Road ta Mr./'Meming's property, which had been lutidly granted for the occasion. On arriving "at the ' grounds the scholars were . formed into a circle and. sang the National Anthem., The sports were immediately entered into with great vigor, and many vof the events were keenly 'contested.'
