Tho.New Zealand; Loan and Mercantile Agency Company reports, under date London, December 3rd, as follows : —The wool market is unchanged. Home buyers are purchasing freely, but the Continental demand is limited. Competition on French j account is sluggish. A good many hard parcels have been offered during the past sales. The sales will close on the Gth. Up to date about .87,000 bales have been sold. The tallow market is fiat, with no trade or speculative demand. Supplies of town melted are heavy. Best mutton is worth 3Ss Gd per cwt, and best beef 3Gs Gd. The wheat market is- quiet, and foreign arrivals are heavy. Adelaide is worth GOs per 400 lbs. The leather market is linn, with a good trade demand. Best sides arc worth Is.
