RECEPTION OF THE GOVERNOR.
Tlie Governor, on ari'ival at Lyttelton, will be received by a volunteer guard of honour, artillery salutes, &e. On arriving at Christchurch, he will be met by the Mayor and City Councillors, by whom he will be invited to luncheon. The Mayor requests the citizens to observe a general holiday in honour of His Excellency's visit.
