WELLINGTON cricket selector Stan Brice has chosen twenty players for practice In View Of the Province's Plunket Shield games. They are; W. F. Alrey (Wellington), E, D. Blundell (Wellington), D. A. Camer.. , on (Rangitlkei), R. Crook (Kllbirnie), C. S. Dempster (Institute), H. Foley (Institute), N. Galllchan (Manawatu), M. Henderson (Institute), W. Hepburn (Kilblrnie), A. M. Hollings (Wellington), K. C. James (Old Boys), J. R. Lamason (Old Boys), T. C. Lowry (Rangitikel), H. M. McGlrr (Hutt), H.> B. Massey (Walrarapa), E. G. McLeod (University), A. Newman (Nelson), J. Newman (Nelson), J. Standidge (Midland), E. F. Warnes (Hutt). Of these, the players likely to remain In are Cameron, Dempster, Lowry (Capt.), Foley, Galllchan, James, Lamason, McGlrr, McLeod and A. and "J. Newman. Blundefl does not Impress as a bowler, and among those mentioned there is better talent with the ball. Batting talent should be fairly strong.
