BORN m Dundee, D. F. Moncur, N.Z. manager of the Canada Tyre and Rubber Co., Ltd., is one of, those travelling Scotsmen, who, after rolling half-way round the world, usually land into a good job. 'V^ay back m 1913,' he happened to be

m Montreal, and, at that lime, the firm he is now with .were commencing to- expand their business and' were looking for someone to ■ conduct their export trade. "DiF.'s" ' experience m the export, department" of a London firm secured him the position, and since

then he has risen as the firm has grown. When the firm commenced operations m Australia and New Zealand, he was appointed as manager m the former country, and when, m 1924, business ' began to boom m N.Z., he crossed the pond to take over his present job. Dave. Moncur's work keeps him fully occupied, but, \being a good Scotsman, he can usuallyl find time for a round of golf. Rotary affairs also claim a good deal of his attention.
