Few would have thought it, but he has a turn of speed. Mac Dillon, a rank outsider, has been showing a lot of clip m his races, and a rest and then a careful preparation will tune him up for a good stake. E. J. Smith evidently woke up to the possibilities of the Harold Dillon gelding, for " last week he purchased him from his trainer, J. D. Smith, of New Brighton, who has a big string of young horses to engage his attention for some time to com*. ;'.
