Socially and financially the function was a great success. * * * J7ASILY one of the happiest little functions was held at the Pioneer Club on Tuesday, when members of the Victoria League met together to congratulate their president on the honor which had recently been bestowed upon her. It was a delightful little function, at which a dainty morning tea was served amid tasteful decorations. Lady Buckleton, the guest of honor, received from the hands of Lady Luke a basket of flowers wherein were tastefully arranged violets, cyclamen and ferns, tied with ribbons. .
