Tilley's team that are sure to be well backed at Trentham are French Raid and Consent. The latter is at the peak of his form again, and he goes well m the mud. French Raid will be all the better for his race ing at Otaki. .* * * Ngawhine did not do herself justice at the Hunt meeting, due to the fact that she bled profusely. She has plenty of speed, and if she has a good run she will give trouble to the best of them m the Trial at Waverley. » . * * There is some prolmbility that G. M. Currie will be represented at the A.J.C. spring meeting by a team of five, perhaps six. Nothing has yet been decided, but all going well it is almost certain Ceremony, Mask, Thaw, and the two youngsters — Pomp and Drastic — will go over. * * ' •• Thaw has been nominated for the Epsom Handicap and Mask for the Metropolitan, while the youngsters figure m the rich Breeders' Plate and other valuable two-year-old events. *, » » Ceremony is not m the A.J.C.
