STAKES AT NAPIER PARK , . SMALL ENOUGH Napier Park's meeting last week can only result m the club' losing money. THERE were horses enough m the flat races, hut the jumping races were poor and the tote suffered accordingly. Now there is some talk of a further cut m stakes. Stakes at the meeting are poor \ enough now, and if a further cut is made the club will find outside, sup- , port completely cut off. _ Amalgamation of Hastings and Na- ; pier clubs seems the only logical mov< ' and it must come sooner or later.
