WILSON WINS
Gilt Is Taken Off Herman (By Cable. — From "N.Z. Truth's" : Special Sydney, Rep.) , : Some of the gilt was taken off the American boxer Babe Herman on Saturday night. HERMAN came into l:>ig time by knocking over Jack Roberts, but his defeat by co- visitor Claude Wilson puts him back on the ginger-bread line. Wilson came out Cull of pep, but the buttle was not a bright one. Herman landed some vicious rights, without effect, and the crowd m the bleachers became so bored that it counted Wilson out. Wilson made his chances bright by taking the battle to his oppon* ent and that won him the decision. Much amusement was caused during the fight by Mrs. Herman, who, f i bin the ringside, kept -xa Ming out: "Come on honey, A'hin- iired an' wanna go home." The most pleased man after the business was over was Johnnie Tjeckie, woo holds two decisions over Wilson. miimiimmmiiiiiiiui iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiuiiiiiiiiiiniiiiiiiiiiniinuiiiuniuu
