BENDRODT, one of Sydney's iT greatest authorities, expressed himself as being delighted with the articles. He said: , "The instructions, as written by Miss I Bates, who, incidentally was at one ! time one of our pupils, are excellent, and everybody, unless mentally deficient, should have no difficulty m learning from them." Mr. Carl Thomas, the well-known teacher of dancing, who is attached; to the -Wentworth as.: professional, congratulated "Truth" of being m the position to provide readers with a course of lessons that taught them not so much what to dance as how to ,dance. He remarked: ' "These articles give correct style, which is 1 infinitely more important than acquisition of mere* steps. People can learn from ' these instructions."
