Palmer, last' week (a mistake crept into our notes where it was stated that Laffineur drew with McGale. Laffineur never fought McGale. Here is a chance for another association to secure the services of Laffineur. The Frenchman hass^sent word ahead that he would particularly like to be tcied' out against New Zealand's champion middleweight, McDonald. This is a contest the Northern Association might consider. Laffineur will move on quickly if his services are not required. He has sent word he will not appear for a purse less than £200.
