THE successful sale of water at. the ■ handsome price of 2/8 per gallon would certainly be regarded as a masterpiece of high finance, and the man who could carry on through a few seasons would end up with a very solid bank balance. Levvey, in fining him £6 and costs, mentioned that the next man who appeared on that charge' wpuld get a much warmer reception.
