l • Tool From Valve SPARK PLUGS WON "F. 8." (Bluff) sends us the idea . which we illustrate for making a valve grinding tool from an old valve. This tool can be used for Fords and all cars which use valves with the two holes m the head. I

The idea should be quite clear from the sketch and consists of an old valve cut off short and squared at one end. Two pins are fitted into the holes m the head and as these are a standard distance apart - the tool will then fit all the valves on the ■■ car. . ■ v .-■■:,■ The tool can /be used m an ordinary brace where this can be got into position, but when the valve is difficult to reach, a key can be fitted to the squared part and. used m this way. > It happens that the same idea lias been sent to us by "E.C." (Has- \ tings), but he does not mention the squaring of the spindle. We are therefore sending the plugs to "F. 8." whose ;idea is more complete.
