ADVISED TO LEAVE.

m sentencing George William Thomas for breaking, entering and theft at Auckland, his Honor Mr. Justice Reed said that the accused had qualified as an habitual criminal but he would not declare him so on this occasion. Thomas had expressed his intention of leaving New Zealand if he were given a short sentence, and the Judge strongly advised him to leave the little Dominion when he had served his "stretch." Thomas received two years' hard labor.
