DIDN'T JJKL IT But All Was Well When Diogenes won on the second day at Trentham a lot of people went round muttering all sorts of piffle. There was talk of crook running and the like, but to the observant it was bunkum. Diogenes finished up behind the placed horses the first clay. The second day he had a horseman on him, he drew number one, and Sot away well. He had no Father O'Flynns to beat, and he won. Diogenes certainly carried more money oil Saturday, but there was more money oh the tote. Then, again, the run was to the horse's benefit, and this is probably the mightiest factor of the lot.
