4— Don't wear beige stockings and grey gloves or white gloves and pearlcolored stockings. The best effect is gained nowadays by having stockings and gloves of the same tone. Fleshcolored stockings thus look best when arms and hands are to be bare. Don't wear fuchsia and. henna at the same time. Don't wean, any of the clear bright reds with l^erma or rose beige or any of the cyclamen or fuchsia shades. Never wear the colors of the season more unfriendly 'to each other. Don't wear two figured garments at the same time. That is, .don't wear a Fair Isle sweater'' and a plain skirt or a printed chiffon frock and a striped coat< or a plaid frock and a figured scavf.
