Birkenella's Future Prospects The record of Birkenella at the Riccarton cou.rse this month is a great one. .. Birkenella was- started four times for three wins and a second. His last victory was accomplished with 12st 21b m the saddle. His owner Mr. Fred Jensen was .elated, .and he told the Press so . wheri He invited thorn to enjoy a drop of gold top with him. The most outstanding feature of Birkenella's running at Riccarton was his splendid jumping. The big country had no terrors for him, and fn each start he gave a finished display of lepping. So impressive' were his efforts that many good judges now look to him to have' a say m next year's National. It's a long way off, but here's to it! i ■ .
