Care of the Hair
Develop- Your Own Individuality Tail Women Should Never Wear their Hair too High
THE care of the hair is a matter which should not be overlooked. Hair that receives care shows it and has a rich glossy lustre which makes it a delight to look on. Secondary to the care of the hair is its arrangement. Here are some points to be considered: If your nose is prominent, your hair should be arranged m a knot at the back of your head, m what is known as a Psyche knot. This balances your profile ■ view, whereas if your hair is arranged flat against the back of your head, there is nothing to counterbalance the prominence of your nose. Do not part your hair m the middle .if-- your face is quite round or inclined to be flat. This accentuates this tendency. .Neither should you keep it too .tight arid close to the head. It is. better to arrange it m soft lines and slightly fuil about the face. The tall woman. 1 should never put her hair high on her head, since this adds to her height. The .short woman, on the other hand, may, so to speak, add a cubit to her stature bj r twisting her hair m a soft coil on the top of he*r head instead of at the nape of the neck.- -.■•■■ Pulling the hair straight back ..and keeping it smooth and close to the head is a distinctive manner of coif.fure, but a difficult one. It is inclined to add a hardness to the expression and to impart several extra years to the countenance. The hair should
never be worn this way if the forehead is wrinkled or the skin not soft and smooth. Do not be too ready to follow a current style m hair dressing. An individual coiffure, one that is not worn by everybody one meets, Is a pleasing way to develop one's own individuality. Experiment With your hair. Instead of putting it up the same old way, take a few extra minutes and try a new arrangement. You may have trouble arranging it the first few times, but you will find that with practice comes facility. Are you sure you wear your hair m the most becoming way?
