, •;_' -* ■ Edwin Cowie, the young immigrant from the land of the thistle who, when charged with breaking^ entering and theft, told the Wellington Magistrate that he had committed the acts to get even with- his uncle for ejecting him from the house, was subsequently before Mr. Justice Ostler, who admitted the young fellow to probation and ordered' him to pay the costs.
