Already (writes "Truth's" Te Awamutu Rep.) two writs have been issued as a result of the mud stirred up m the cow-yard of the Empire's dairy farm, and the managing director of the big company — the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Coy. — is to x be called uppn to show cause why he should not pay one John Ignatius Fox, the local organiser for the Dairy Farmers' Union, £5,000 for an alleged slanderous statement, which William Goodfellow is said to have made regarding him ; while Dynes Fulton, chairman of directors of the same concern, has had a sheet of paper served on him, claiming £2500, owing to a certain reflection which he is alleged to have made (at one of the exciting meetings which have been taking place) on the integrity of the coy's auditors Messrs. English and Luxford.
